MIAMI BETRAYER

Miami Betrayer follows the story of Tatiana, an Argentine dancer who has been working for two years in one of Miami’s most iconic strip clubs. In an environment where filming is forbidden and everything takes place under a tacit pact of confidentiality, the director (Tatiana’s close friend) ventures into this world to uncover what happens there.
The film explores how dance and performance in that setting are not only a job, but also a form of artistic expression that embodies desire, seduction, tension, and role-playing in a space where the boundaries between acting and real life become blurred.
Miami Betrayer is an essay on friendship, identity, and the power of art in contexts where fiction and reality converge.

DIRECTOR'S BIO
Sol Purriños is a film producer and director. She studied at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and the Centro de Investigación Cinematográfica (CIC). In 2018, she founded Libero Films, her production company, through which she has developed feature films, series, and short films selected at festivals such as Warsaw, Girona, and Philadelphia. Among her productions, Marea Verde stands out, premiering at the Warsaw International Film Festival.
In addition to her work as a producer, she worked at the distribution company Maco Cine. She is also a founding partner of Parda, a production company dedicated to creating advertising content known for its creative approach that blends production with a strong narrative and expressive sensibility.
